About Robert Camp
Welcome to my world!!! I have been involved in photography for longer than I care to remember, I bought my first camera back in the day and was a slow convert to digital. But now I am here and simply love it. As you will be able to tell from my galleries, I have a penchant for waterfalls, and barns. Ok some could call it an obsession :D) I live for the fall of the year as the leaves begin to change and the air becomes crisp. I enjoy traveling and searching out new sights, and love bringing those sight back home through photos. I also photograph birds, flowers, and even do a little still art in my home studio when I have time and inspiration. I also shoot sports for the local newspapers, but doubt much of that will ever end up here.
I enjoy traveling and usually have a camera handy, whether a day trip through the mountains of North Arkansas, or my yearly jaunts through Tennessee and Kentucky to West Virginia. Absolutely love the scenery there. Quite literally there is a different photo around every curve there, especially during the fall. Just wish I had more free time to spend there. OH well maybe one day.
Thanks for checking out my galleries, I hope you enjoy the trip through as much as I have enjoyed the years of collecting these snippets of my adventures and sharing them with you.
On a personal note, I apologize for not posting anything lately, but in the spring I was given the sad news that I had colon cancer. Well I have spent most of the spring and summer going through chemo and radiation, and colon surgery, and am now beginning the final series of follow up chemo treatments. The outlook is good, though I have had to make some drastic changes in lifestyle. But we do what we must to keep going. But I am finally back to shooting some, and looking forward to a brighter future.
God Bless
Robert
